About Ring Family of Grayson County VA
The primary purpose of this site is to trace the lineage of the Rings of Grayson
County, Virginia back to their European origins; likely a result of the first
Palatine Migration (see "Useful Links" below.) Martin Ring, who
was born in 1744 (perhaps as early as 1739) died in Grayson County in 1811. Prior to
that, we know he resided in Rowan County, North Carolina and earlier in either
Northampton or Bucks County, Pennsylvania. (Please see the link to Donn Neal's
research below.)

I hope this site will also be of use to anyone related to the Grayson County Ring
family doing their own genealogical research. This site also has information about
the Stuart family of Ashe County, NC. If you would like more information
about these families, or have more to offer, please feel free to
contact me. I would also like ANY information concerning the Bedsaul family of
Carroll County, VA.
